Eight spectators were injured this Sunday resulting from Edward’s wreck flying into the stands, but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Because an accident on the final lap of the Aaron’s 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series auto race at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Carl Edward’s Ford flew over the fence and wrecks cause many injuries, but none of theme were life-threatening.
Now Carl Edwards has led calls for changes to be made to racing at Talladega following his dramatic accident:
Hopefully the can do something to change this style of racing.
I guess we’ll do this until somebody gets killed and then we’ll change it, but that’s the way it is
